Equator Village

Addu Atoll is the pearl on the Maldivian island necklace and is home to Equator Village. Located on the historic island of Gan, a former British Royal Air Force base; Equator Village is a unique resort in many ways. Not only is it the only resort hotel in Addu Atoll: the up and coming diving and surfing Indian Ocean hot spot, it is also located by many of the conserved coral gardens the Maldives has to offer. Equator Village offers a unique and different experience of Maldives for all, from coral gardens and wreck diving to idyllic paced local life.

Room Types and Resort Facilities
Set in amidst mature trees and carefully tended gardens are 78 spacious rooms, the Blue Lagoon restaurant and Bar as well as a fully equipped dive base and water sports center and swimming pool. Other facilities include a spa, and excellent tennis court and squash court as well as an outdoor volleyball court, badminton court by the beach, and a variety of indoor games including table tennis and snooker. Bicycle hire is free for resort guests making easy exploration of Gan and the other inhabited islands connected to Gan by causeway.
