Veligandu Island Resort, surrounded by a beautiful lagoon and long stretches of white, sandy beach, is the only resort on the island of veligandu, in North Ari Atoll. Transfers are made by seaplane, a scenic 20 minute ride from/to the Male’ International Airport.
76 rooms, including Jacuzzi Water Villas, 10 Water Villas and 12 Jacuzzi Beach Villas. All rooms feature tropical décor, a king size bed, wood floors, private sun deck with furniture, air conditioning, overhead ceiling fan, sitting area with 36 inch flat screen cable TV, DVD player, broadband internet connection, stocked mini bar with refrigerator, tea/coffee/espresso machine, IDD telephone, personal safe, spacious bathroom with rain shower, double sinks, bath accessories, hair dryer, nightly turn down service and complimentary use of chaise lounges at the beach and beach towels. The Dhonveli Restaurant, the main dining room, with traditional sand floor, serves “all you can eat” buffet style meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, a variety to please everyone’s taste! There are also a’la carte “options” including room service, a snack menu at the bar and pool, special dinners at the Madivaru Restaurant, on the beach with a menu fresh, grilled seafood, prime beef and Asian satellite TV coverage of International Sporting events.
